Harris Boulevard is a nod to Martha’s upbringing in Austin. Growing up in a wonderfully creative household thanks to her artist mom, Martha learned how to curate a wardrobe, decorate without rules, and host unforgettable events.
Harris Boulevard is also a nod to Martha's 18 years in NYC after college, looking for that one black top in a sea of black clothing, with 3 kids nipping at her ankles to leave the apartment.
“When you have 45 seconds to choose an outfit for the entire day, it’s important that every piece you grab from your closet is flattering and sophisticated. Looking good and feeling good in your clothing each day is important. Whether you’re going to the office or the grocery store, the choice you made in that 45 seconds will set the tone of your day.”
Leaving NYC and moving to Dallas in 2020 brought many things to light, most of all her closet! Goodbye dark hallway closets with accordion doors, hello brilliantly lit dressing areas with storage galore.
“Everything is big in Texas (including closets!) but your wardrobe doesn’t have to be. NYC teaches you to buy wisely. Tiny closets call for tiny wardrobes. Each piece must be worthy of a spot on that rack.”
You’ll never see Martha without an eye-catching ring on her hand and she’s teaching friends that a great ring can elevate any outfit and your mood. It is guaranteed to mask an unmanicured hand, as well. “Take attention away from your nails – all eyes are on the prize – that ring!” She believes this wholeheartedly and has started creating custom made, one of a kind vintage rings for just this reason.
Martha explains that her collection of wardrobe worthy apparel and custom designed vintage rings is for the stylish, savvy soul who only wants to pay for something she will wear a dozen times without trying. "The true test is - are you willing to wear it out of the store today? If so, it deserves a place in your wardrobe."
